The GameSir G7 SE wired controller has garnered a mixed response from customers, characterized by its array of features and some performance hiccups. Users appreciate its affordability compared to traditional Xbox controllers, as well as its customizable options through an app. The inclusion of back buttons enhances the gaming experience, particularly for first-person shooter (FPS) games, making it an attractive option for avid gamers. Positive feedback highlights the controller's versatility, with features like macro assignments allowing users to tailor their gameplay. Many have found the controller to surpass standard Xbox offerings in comfort and functionality. However, the controller does face criticism, specifically regarding issues with button performance and persistent stick drift. Some users reported difficulties in achieving a satisfactory gaming experience due to these problems. Additionally, the quality of the accompanying USB Type-C cable has been pointed out as subpar, with compatibility concerns arising when trying to replace it with other cables.
