The 12 Ton Hydraulic Shop Press is a great product for small projects and multiple uses like pressing bearings on and off. Although some customers have received different plates than those pictured, and noticed that the press is lighter duty and smaller in size than expected. Another customer had issues with missing bolts, but was able to complete installation with their own. The instructions were lacking but easy to figure out. The pump may slide off the plate easily, but can be fixed with added bolts. Some customers recommended helpers for larger projects and that the product may not be good for blacksmithing. The working range is a little less than half an inch to 30 inches, and the dimension between uprights is 16 1/2 inches.
