According to a former auto mechanic, the SuperTech oil filter has the same guts as a K&N white oil filter. Its solid build, metal end caps, and 99% filtration for up to 10k miles are said to be better than the Fram orange can for less money. Many users have cut open the filter and inspected it, proving the quality of its build and filtration. While some users suggest changing the filter every 5k-8k miles for the best results, others claim that the filter's maximum lifespan can be 10k miles.
