The Drill Grinding Attachment is a device that sharpens twist drill bits by holding them at the correct angle for grinding against the grinder. The attachment holds the drill bit and grinds it accordingly. The device has a learning curve, and users need to position the bit accurately to get correct angles. The attachment can sharpen small diameter drill bits well, while around 18 inches drill bits can still be sharpened on it with difficulty. It cannot sharpen chisels or wood drill bits. The attachment is cordless and should be used with an 8" bench grinder. It can grind drill bits from 88, 68, 59, 49, or 41 degrees, depending upon the particular twist drill bit. The clamping system can be modified to suit up to 1-inch drill bits.
