    antwoord: Yes. I have built a 165 W installation.

    antwoord: I have 525w solar, flat on a van roof. I've been able to get 35+ amps going into the batteries at midday from this controller. I have 200ah. I think I could charge from flat in 2 good summer days, so it works for me.

    antwoord: It depends on how much solar panels you are using and also the size of your battery bank. I would use 16mm cable from the MPPT to the Battery bank which is more than enough and safe for 40a. I hope that helps.
