Arturia MIDI Controllers BeatStep Editorial Review
Arturia BeatStep Compact MIDI Controller & Sequencer is a versatile device that stands out for its robust connectivity options, including USB MIDI, 5-pin DIN MIDI out, and CV Sync, allowing it to interface seamlessly with various gear. Users appreciate the impressive build quality, noting its sturdy design and metal backing that enhances pad stability during use. While primarily a MIDI controller, the sequencer mode offers creative possibilities, albeit with monophonic limitations. The absence of a visual display can make navigation tricky, but the software editor simplifies adjustments. Overall, the BeatStep provides a great experience for both controlling and sequencing music.
