PRODUCTBESCHRIJVING
TL Reefs Premium Biopellets for Aquarium (128fl oz, 6lbs)
About This Item
Introducing TL Reefs Premium Biopellets for Aquarium - the perfect solution for reducing phosphate and nitrate levels in your aquarium. Our biopellets are manufactured from pure Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), derived from a strain of bacteria specifically chosen for aquarium use. These pellets act as a food source for bacteria that consume both nitrate and phosphate, promoting a healthy and balanced aquatic environment.
How do they work? As your tank water passes through the biopellet reactor, the bacteria on the pellets get flushed off and enter the aquarium's water column. This allows them to consume nitrates and convert them into nitrogen gas. Additionally, the bacteria can also remove phosphate from the water, further improving water quality. To use TL Reefs Biopellets, simply place them in a suitable media reactor and adjust the flow to keep them gently tumbling.
The starting dosage is approximately 300mL per 75 gallons of aquarium water, ensuring optimal results for your tank. At Ubuy, we understand the importance of providing top-quality aquarium supplies to our customers. That's why we offer a wide range of TL Reefs products, including these Premium Biopellets.

TL Reefs Aquarium Water Treatments 2025404 Editorial Review
TL Reefs Premium Biopellets are a cost-effective solution to reduce nitrates in a saltwater tank. Customers have reported success in using the product to bring nitrates down to zero within three to four weeks. However, users must ensure that they keep their alkalinity levels low while carbon dosing, as high levels of alkalinity can bleach corals. It is also important to note that the instructions provided with the product are vague and may cause cloudiness in the tank, which may take up to three weeks to clear up. TL Reefs Premium Biopellets may also cause film to develop in the tank, which can be unsightly.
