Jobox Gas Editorial Review
The REPL Gas Spring Slotted End is a replacement shock for job boxes. The OEM replacement shocks have a 120lb opening force and the connections are screw-on, not welded. Customers have reported that they fit perfectly and do exactly what they're supposed to do. One customer warns about the heavy and dangerous nature of the job box door without the lift assist and suggests keeping a spare handy. In terms of compatibility, customers have confirmed that it fits the 60" piano hinge job box and can be used as a replacement for a 120# shock on a 6'2" job box. One customer suggests contacting Delta with the model number to get the correct part number. However, the product's compatibility with the 80" field office and 50" 684990 piano box is unknown to customers.
