The book is worth the investment for the information on the Underdark for 5e. The Demonlords are the primary menace in the book, and while they are not always well-implemented, they provide examples for the GM to create atmospherics and challenge the survival of a party of any level. The greatest value of this product is for GMs looking to create their own Underdark adventures or craft their own optimized version of the campaign contained within.
