It is made of stainless steel and aluminum, and the only plastic parts are the chute and plunger. The juicer can make juice from oranges and pineapple, but it cannot be used as a food mill. The unit is entirely made in the USA, and it is NSF certified. A customer who owned the product for a year found that it malfunctioned and leaked.
